Bernd O. Keller

PhD Senior Research Scientist

Bernd brings over 20 years of experience in advanced analytical technologies and methods to the Numinus BioScience team. He is mainly involved with the implementation of the contaminant screening program for cannabis and cannabis derivative products.

Bernd was the director of the mass spectrometry facility in the Department of Chemistry at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario and was a research scientist at the Child & Family Research Institute at BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, prior to moving to Vancouver Island. Bernd has authored and co-authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications.

Bernd received his PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Alberta in 2001 working on peptide, metabolite and protein analysis with advanced mass spectrometry. Previously, he had received his undergraduate degree in Analytical Chemistry from the Higher Technical College in Reutlingen, Germany.
